The Association of Accredited Small Business Consultants® (AASBC®) is the only global association specializing in training and certification of small business and SME consultants. We understand the impact that privately owned, small businesses and SMEs have on the worldwide economy. The core training of the AASBC is the SEMP Approach: Simplified Examination to Maximize Profit™ program consisting of a 40-hour video lecture series/exam review complemented with a 400-page training book. Whether referred to as a small business, SME, micro business, or SMB, the objective of the AASBC remains the same, which is to train small business and SME consultants with the core competencies needed to improve operational efficiency and maximize profit for their clients.
The Association certifies members with the designation of Accredited Small Business Consultant® (ASBC®) for U.S. members and Accredited SME Consultant™ (ASMEC®) for international members who demonstrate a proficiency in small business and SME consulting through the successful passing of a certification exam.
Train and certify small business and SME (small to medium-sized enterprise) consultants with proprietary educational materials and practice aides explicitly designed to develop proficiency in this specialized area of business consulting with the ultimate goal to improve operational efficiency, maximize profitability, and create business value.
The vision of the AASBC is to be the global leader and standard bearer in providing small business and SME consultants with the knowledge and necessary tools to assist clients in creating and operating long-term sustainable, profitable businesses.
Members in good standing of the Association of Accredited Small Business Consultants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner which brings honor and prestige to the Association by upholding certain responsibilities and obligations of membership.
